I had a minor comment. The term "ultrasoft" is meant to distinguish this scale from the "soft" scale ~ Lambda. In particular k_us ~ Q lambda^2 ~ Lambda Lambda/Q. So SCET would *distinguish* between two regimes, which are both non-perturbative.So Javi’s question would boil down to whether one can consistently distinguish between two non-perturbative scales (in particular after inclusion of RG effects in the formalism).
