Description
The Centre for Regulation and Contract Law (CRCL), founded in 2024, is dedicated to exploring the legitimate applications of contract law for regulatory purposes, with a focus on advancing welfare objectives. Its primary areas of interest include promoting optimal resource utilization, sustainability, combating discrimination, protecting vulnerable populations, preventing over-indebtedness, and ensuring access to affordable housing. To mark its inauguration, the CRCL is hosting a conference that brings together lawyers from both civil law and common law traditions. The event will focus on various aspects of regulation within contractual relations, encouraging dialogue and comparative analysis of different regulatory approaches. We welcome the participation of all interested parties.
